Sierra Leone’s President Julius Maada Bio has announced fresh appointments following a recent cabinet reshuffle.

In a public notice issued from State House, the President unveiled a series of strategic appointments:

Lt. Gen. Peter K. Lavahun – Appointed as Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to Nairobi, Kenya.

Brig. Gen. Idara Bangura – Named Chief of Defence Staff for the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF).

Maj. Gen. Fred D. Alpha – Appointed as Deputy High Commissioner to Abuja, Nigeria.

This announcement underscores the President’s focus on strengthening both Sierra Leone’s diplomatic representation and its national defense leadership.
