In a significant gesture of regional solidarity, His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio hosted a grand State Dinner to honor Liberian President Joseph Nyumah Boakai Sr., who is on an official visit to Sierra Leone.

The event, held in Freetown, celebrated the enduring friendship and cooperation between the two West African nations.

During his remarks, President Bio warmly welcomed President Boakai, describing him as a respected elder statesman and a close ally.

“President Boakai is not just a distinguished guest; he is part of our Sierra Leonean family,” President Bio said, emphasizing the deep cultural and historical ties between the two countries.
