After returning from the Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Türkiye, President Julius Maada Bio toured parts of State House that were damaged by the fire on Saturday, April 12, 2025.

During the tour, the President was shown the affected areas to assess the damage. He was accompanied by government officials and emergency response teams.

President Bio thanked the emergency workers for their swift and coordinated efforts to control the fire and minimize the damage. The exact cause of the fire is still being investigated.
