The Sierra Leone Chancery in Kenya has refuted the arrest of popular Sierra Leonean celebrity, LA Chocolate (LAC).

The East African Chancery was reacting to a newspaper headline that purported that the entertainer “was nabbed at Kenya Airport with drugs & $200,000.”

The Chancery said that the news is fake and that the other contents of the paper are taken from a publication that was originally published in 2021. They said that they have conducted an investigation with airport authorities and confirmed the news to be fake.
