Sierra Leone’s Chief Minister, David Moinina Sengeh met and discuss the importance of education with Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Amor Motley at the sidelines of the UN General Assembly (UNGA).
Chief Minister Sengeh spoke with enthusiasm about education citing that the sector has a great future.
The Chief Minister said Prime Minister Motley also met and had brief discussions with President Julius Maada Bio.
“I’m honoured to be learning from these two mentors. Catch me in Barbados soon to deepen Barbados and Sierra Leone ties,” he said
He maintained that, the world needs leaders that are committed to global cooperation as well as the conviction that multilateralism will lead to more justice and security with special reference to President Bio and Prime Minister Motley.
Inspiring to learn that education is now the PM’s flagship and they are eager to learn from us (she was Minister of education back in the day at age 28),” he noted.
