The chairperson of the Unity Party, Femi Claudius Cole has endorsed Samura Kamara as the flag bearer of the main opposition party, All People’s Congress (APC) ahead of the 2023 multi-tier elections.

She made the endorsement on Sunday 13 February 2023 in Makeni at Samura Kamara’s official declaration at the party office.

The Unity Party Chairperson said the reason why she endorsed Samura Kamara was that there was no other person more qualified to run the country than Kamara, who he added will be able to transform Sierra Leone into a better country.

She urged the thousands of supporters and other Sierra Leoneans to give him the chance to lead the APC party and support his aspiration to lead the country.

Claudius-Cole said that the country is at point where citizens should not elect leaders that are making fake promises to them, adding that what the country needs now is a saviour like Samura Kamara.

She said in the justice system the judiciary needs sanitization because the judiciary is in a coma, noting that the justice system in the country is dead.

She urged Kamara that when he assumed office come 24 June 2023, he must put more emphasis on rebuilding the image of the judiciary, adding that the judiciary does not have respect for anybody.

She pleaded to Samura Kamara to pay attention to country’s health sector when he assumes office, noting that lot of women are losing their lives during childbirth.
