Cribs International, the leading music label in Sierra Leone, is set to launch a nationwide talent search in early 2025 to discover and nurture the next generation of Sierra Leonean music stars.

The competition, spearheaded by CEO Sho Cole, promises exciting opportunities for young, unsigned musicians eager to make their mark on the industry.

The nationwide search, aimed at discovering new musical talents across Sierra Leone, will offer cash prizes ranging from NLE 300,000 to NLE 500,000, with the top 10 finalists receiving professional song distribution to enhance their reach locally and internationally. The competition is open to unsigned artists or those with written consent from their label for limited releases, providing a platform for musicians to relaunch their careers.

The top 3 contestants will receive even greater rewards, including record deals with Cribs International, full album production, and other career-boosting opportunities. Additionally, the competition will feature a panel of expert judges, voice coaches, and internationally renowned producers who will work closely with participants to hone their skills and elevate their performances.

Sho Cole, CEO of Cribs International, expressed his excitement about the initiative: “This is your chance to show the world your talent and seize the opportunity to be signed and shine!” He emphasized the label’s commitment to helping emerging artists build successful careers in music.

Aspiring musicians can expect to find entry forms available in January 2025, marking the official start of the competition. With a focus on discovering fresh talent, Cribs International aims to give Sierra Leonean artists the chance to showcase their abilities and gain exposure to global audiences.
