The Sierra Leone Commercial Bank has warned its customers and staff not to enter the bank if they have not taken their COVID-19 Vaccine.
This was according to a statement from the Bank signed by the Director of Business Development Moses C. Sesay of the said bank dated 23 June 2021.
It reads a follow:
PUBLIC NOTICE ON MEASURES TO CURB COVID 19 THIRD WAVE
Reference to the above Public Notice by National COVID Emergency Response Centre (NaCOVERC) dated Thursday 17 June 2021, all members of staff employed are advised to take at least their first COVID 19 Vaccine and mask up immediately. failures to comply will restrict employees from entering the premises/ office.
Furthermore, branches are also advised to also notify our customers that effective Monday 28 June 2021, no customer will be allowed to enter the banking hall for business without a facemask and evidence of at least one dose of the Vaccine.”
Last Thursday NaCOVERC announced the third wave of COVID-19 in the country and placed some measures which the public is supposed to follow and mandatory Vaccine for some offices was one of those measures that was instituted.
