Renowned Sierra Leonean surgeon and Medicine & Surgery lecturer, Dr James Ceaser Boima has passed away today.

Boima was a Consultant Surgeon at the Connaught Hospital and a Former Head of Department, Surgery, College of Medicine and Health Sciences (COMAHS), University of Sierra Leone.

He was in practice for over 35 years.

Boima’s cause of death yet unknown. We pray that God grants those mourning this death the strength and the courage to carry on.
