The Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone (ECSL) officially announced on the 13th of October, 2023 the discontinuation of payments conducted through Simkorpor Agents and Rokel Commercial Banks (RCB).
Commencing from October 16, 2023, ECSL will no longer employ this payment method.
To facilitate a seamless transition, ECSL will establish Special Payment Centers in districts where RCB does not maintain a branch. These districts encompass Port Loko, Kambia, Falaba, Tonkolili, and Karene, and this unique arrangement will persist until October 31, 2023.

ECSL strongly urges all ad-hoc personnel with outstanding payments in these specified districts to claim their entitled funds before the designated deadline.
Furthermore, ECSL has extended the deadline for payment claims until December 31, 2023. This extension applies to any RCB branch. It is vital to acknowledge that this represents the final date for claiming payments before all SIM Korpor e-vouchers expire.
Individuals who have been verified and have received an SMS containing their individual SIM Korpor e-voucher code are advised to present their valid government-issued identification, such as a national identity card, voter ID card, driver’s license, passport, or similar documents used during the verification process.
For any inquiries or assistance, individuals are welcome to directly contact ECSL. This announcement signifies a shift in payment methods for polling personnel and aims to ensure a streamlined process throughout the transition phase.
What about thousands of staff that have not received any Sim Korpor. What will be their faith

If government fail to pay your salary for one month how would you feel? Let alone unemployed citizens worked diligently and it’s now five months no payment.
We were actually hoping for the best but now we have seen the worst ever, for me every thing about this so-called new distruction not direction is very disgusting, Sierra Leone is now seeing as a boiling pot GOD Have Marcy we are in the hands of the angel of hell.
What about those who have travel out of the district they worked, are they entitle to receive their own payment in another district?
The question now is , if your name is one d verified list but u haven’t received any message from ECSL or RCB
Can one be chance of receiving his money if visit any RC bank?
Why didn’t you talk about those also who verified but yet to receive the sim korpor alerts?
Are they going to left out? If yes and why?

Wow!! It really disgusting for me to see this, ECSL Will going to discontinue with the payment, what about us that do not receive any message in our phone, and we have gone for verification but our name do not reflect what is the issue?
And besides am a Presiding Officer (P.O) in my station.
It is undone with the type of data you guys are using to capture those that work.
But know this, I will going to “Swer” your generation if i don’t receive my money with every breath of my life.
