The Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone (ECSL) is participating in the International Elections Visitors Programme (IEVP) 2026 in New Delhi, India, taking place from April 6 to April 10, 2026.
Representing the Commission are Electoral Commissioner Abubakarr M. Koroma and the Director of Training and Procedures, Gibrilla Murray Jusu.
The programme, facilitated by the India International Institute of Democracy and Electoral Management in collaboration with the Election Commission of India, brings together electoral stakeholders from around the world to share best practices and strengthen electoral systems.
Key areas of focus include voter registration, voter roll management systems, global electoral collaboration, and insights into India’s Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) model.
The engagement underscores ECSL’s commitment to enhancing electoral integrity, transparency, and innovation in Sierra Leone.
