With the Sierra Leone music Industry highly underrated in Africa, there’s obviously lots of work to be done to put it right to it’s Standards.
With lots of new faces trooping into the less developed industry, there are impecable evidences that only few are capable of spearheading Salone music to it’s right place
Meanwhile, Sierraloaded has listed it’s highly potential flag bearers of the music industry in 2015/16.
5. FAMOUS
Frederick Famous Peters gave us some amount of hope for growth with his last hit, TROWAY. The song Sounds new, danceable, plus listener friendly. he has also given us other acceptable materials and seem to be on track.
Importantly, Famous has been versatile in the promotion of his singles beyond the Sierra Leonean borders. He is undoubtedly being potential to Shake the Industry in coming months.
4. ZAINAB SHERIFF
Super Model turned singer, Zainab Sheriff is a new comer who recently under the banner of Sugar Entertainment released her introductory single, Naughty featuring one of the Industry heavyweights, Emmerson.
Her single sparked up massive debates on both Whatsapp groups and Facebook pages that the song is too hot and natty. As a first timer she killed it perfectly, giving us high indications that she has more to offer.
If persistent, we should probably anticipate her competing for the best female Asrtiste in the next MAMA Awards.
3. ABIZZY
Industry’s most consistent, Abizzy has been relentless in recent times. After previous success of outstanding musical musical productions and expensive musical videos, the UK based artiste has proved his worth after featuring 2x African Best Artiste of the year, Davido on the remix of his hit single ‘Sugar’.
With the massive buzz created from the release of Sugar remix especially after the Video release, Abizzy went further to drop Salone baby featuring another Nigerian Super star, Kelly handsome.
Without doubt, Sky is no limit for the young lad if he remains consistent
2. EMMERSON
Without using much of our typing space, it will be ignorant to argue in opposition that Emmerson has surprisingly caught up with the new generation and music.
After bagging an Airtel endorsement months ago, Emmerson has stepped up his music after the release of Bolala and Telescope.
With Telescope video on the way, there is no doubt Emmerson would shake the future of Contemporary Sierra Leone music
1. LXG
First group banger, To The Beat was undoubtedly of the hottest single’s that rocked the Sierra Leone airwaves since mid 2013 to 214.
LXG wasn’t relenting when they further released SuperMan.
From their rate of consistency and abilities, It is right to posit that a potential break out into the African scene is possible if the group remain consistent.
