Access to health facilities has been a major challenge in the country, which has led to the loss of many lives.

Some hospitals will denied the sick as a result of not having enough bed to admit them.

The 34 Military hospital is one of the major hospitals in the country that treats both children and adults.

To improve it facilities, the First Lady Fatima Bio has championed the construction of new buildings at the hospital.

These new buildings will consist of five hundred beds building, an administrative block, center of excellence complex, and a nursing school.

All these facilities are to help solve the challenges faced by the hospital and to help save lives.

The work is been supervised by a sierra Leonean female engineer, Engr Kadija Shadiatu Sesay.
