On October 22, 2024, First Lady Fatima Bio participated in a significant meeting hosted by the leadership of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Utah.

During her visit, she had the honor of conversing with Elder D. Todd Christofferson, a prominent member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, alongside his wife, as well as Elder Michael T. Riband and Elder Gifford Nelson.

The discussions focused on the vital role of family values within the Utah community, emphasizing the importance of these principles being passed down through generations.

The First Lady and the church leaders also exchanged insights on the necessity of safeguarding children, irrespective of their race, social background, or religious affiliations.

Earlier that day, First Lady Bio reconnected with her friend and fellow advocate, J. Annette Dennis, after their joint involvement in Sierra Leone’s observance of the United Nations World Day in 2023.
