Sierra Leone’s First Lady, Her Excellency, Madam Fatima Maada Bio has today Wednesday 29 September 2021, arrived in Dubai, United Arab Emirates ahead of the opening ceremony of the Dubai EXPO 2020 scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday 30th September 2021.

Her Excellency, who doubles as Sierra Leone’s Commissioner General for the EXPO, is in the Gulf state on the invitation of the UAE leadership and the organizers of the mega exhibition event.

The Dubai EXPO 2020 is expected to run from the 1st October 2021 to March 31st 2022 with over 190 participating countries. The event will provide a unique platform for participating countries to showcase their opportunities, create networks and attract investment.

Madam First Lady was received by Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to the UAE, Rashid Sesay.
