His Excellency Rtd. Brig. Julius Maada Bio and First Lady, Mrs. Fatima Maada Bio, hosted the Annual Children Christmas Party on Monday, December 19, 2022 at the Presidential Lodge in Freetown, which drew hundreds of children from both inside and outside the Presidential Lodge at Hill Station.

In a brief statement at the occasion, President Bio said that the First Family has always placed a high priority on the welfare of children in Sierra Leone and that his family is fortunate to have such close interactions with children from various backgrounds in Sierra Leone during this festive season.

He urged the kids to concentrate on their academic goals while also urging them to use his government’s free, high-quality education program wisely.

The festive season is a season that is filled with love, affection. It is a season when people extend their helping hands to families who could not afford much but wish to have fun during Christmas.

The First Family of Sierra Leone, Bio Family started the day with a family Christmas tree decoration. As each member counts in the family division of labour was implemented as Bio President was spotted adding decorations on the tree while Madam Fatima Bio was have fun with children and close family relatives as they sing Christmas Carols.

Extending their hands to hundreds of children, The First Lady of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Madam Fatima Bio was at the forefront of dishing out food to the attendees of the party regardless her status.

This presidential Christmas  party is just kindness in action from the First Family of Sierra Leone.
