The newly re-elected President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Julius Maada Bio has revealed that the focus of his new administration shall be Food Security, Consolidating gains in Human Capital Development, creating Jobs for our youth, revamping the Public Service, and developing technology and infrastructure.
He twitted these plans on Tuesday shortly after he took the oath of office.
“In line with the Constitution of the Republic of Sierra Leone, I took the Oath of Office, administered by the Honorable Chief Justice Desmond Babatunde Edwards for my second term mandate, with a renewed zeal to pursue an accelerated national development agenda to improve the quality of life for the people of #SierraLeone.
“The focus of my next administration shall be Food Security, consolidating gains in Human Capital Development, creating jobs for our youth, revamping the Public Service and developing technology and infrastructure.
“I sincerely thank every Sierra Leonean for the many sacrifices and for supporting my Running Mate and Vice President, Dr @VP_Jalloh and I throughout our campaign period. Our victory is your victory. Congratulations,”, He said.
Cost of living in general is what is killing the country’s people presently. The government should solely focus on price control of both foods and other commodities. Wish Bio’s government all the best. But again the ordinary people are crying due to high cost of living!
I think there’s misplacement of words there, he is a self imposed president and not re-elected president. We now have Albert Margai, Sierra Leoneans should expect Sheka Steven! A word for the wise is sufficient!!!

There is nothing new in your speech from the last five years. Have you seen the division you have broughf to the country?…look what is happening in Dove Cut market …your boys wearing your T’shirt destroying the goods of the market traders….is this what you call democracy and peace? Mr President we need you to focus on food and security in this country
We didn’t vote for you but Rather you forced yourself to power through the votes of Dr samura Mathew Wilson kamara. But expy the outcome at anytime. Don’t expect to rely on the forces because you don’t care for them. Poor salary, no uniforms for police officers.
The cost of living in Sierra Leone presently, is worse more than ever before. unemployment, intimidation, and corruption is been and still on its peak with no solution.The few employment facilities that are in the country is only for those that are connected to the system and not for the general. For now,we hardly believe in any promise onless we see. We’ve been waiting for the past five years with the same sort of promises and its end up to be fruitless instead, all we had experience is, killing of innocent citizens,whitch-hunting oppositions, inflation and economic-instability. Now that we’re already down into to the bottomless pit, what else can make us believe? and to what extent? IMO,seventy percent of the country’s population are admist of persimist about their future. Sometimes, before you oppose anyone, you should try to understand the statement of that particular person. I rest my case.
You know what the people of sierra leone need you are not a stranger to suffering you grow up in the provinces you know what it means. Rouge president Bio your youths are intimidating terrorizing vanderlizing and destroying people’s business and houses right now at Bombay street in front of Dr Samura’s family house, and yet still you have not deplore your soldiers and the police to shoot or tear gas them because they are your youths but you rather sent them to tear gas and shoot APC Supporters at their party office. Maada why all this? Is it a must or by fuss that you have to do 10 years? Who are you compare to Donald Trump who only did 1 term…..God has a plan for your bloody hands.

We can absolutely understand the angle from which guys are coming but trust me he won the election hands down because he campaigned through out the length and breath of this country and samura was sitting in Freetown organizing protest for data forgetting that the key strategy to win an election is to campaign.
