Sierra Leone’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Alhaji Timothy Musa Kabba, has arrived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, in preparation for the 38th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union (AU).

The high-level summit is scheduled to take place from February 15 to 16, 2025.

Upon his arrival, Minister Kabba was warmly welcomed by officials from the Sierra Leone Mission in Addis Ababa, including Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Harold Bundu Saffa.

His early presence sets the stage for active participation in preliminary discussions and strategic meetings ahead of President Julius Maada Bio’s arrival for the main event.

Minister Kabba is slated to engage in a series of significant meetings on February 14, focusing on bilateral relations, regional cooperation, and key policy frameworks that will shape Sierra Leone’s contributions to the AU agenda.

His participation is expected to highlight Sierra Leone’s commitment to African unity, economic development, and peacekeeping initiatives across the continent.
