Former APC Member of Parliament for constituency 121, Mohamed Mansaray aka ‘Papa Now” who is currently the leading Aspirant for the MP symbol under the ticket of the All-Peoples Congress (APC) Party has been accused of badly manhandling the West-West Deputy Youth Chairlady, Julian Samura of APC at Ross Road, during the Party’s lower-level elections on 30th December, 2022. Samura is reported to have sustained a swollen right jay as a result of the incident.
Narrating her ordeals to Capitol Times, Samura stated that ‘Papa Now’ met her sitting with her husband at Anvil, Ross Road and that they exchanged greetings. Upon having their party politics talks, she told Papa Now that in the lower APC Elections, it seems that Team A will lift up the victory. She said this statement made Papa Now felt angry and started throwing inventive words on her.
“I was at Anvil, Ross Road with my husband when Papa Now met and greeted me, I returned greetings to him as we were having our privileged conversation on our party lower elections. So, I said to him, praise God Team A will win the election. This statement made Papa Now felt angry, so he replied angrily to me that he is not from team A, and further told me that there will be fire behind Team A’s winning. (https://tokyosmyrna.com/) He was so fast to use offensive words at me “mek wi bet if team A win, mek you eat you kaka” let us bet if Team A wins let you eat your shit. This statement prompted my husband to caution him by saying, Honourable, I know she is your comrade, but know the words you threw at her, she is my wife. So, he angrily repeated the same statement at me and I referred to him the same words. He then rushed at me and hit me on the jaw and pushed me on the wall in the presence of my husband. My husband rushed at him also but people quickly intervened. On to Tuesday, I am feeling serous pains and my jaw seriously got swollen. I have reported the matter at the Ross Road Police station and a medical request form was issued to me”, she narrated.
Meanwhile, Capitol tried to reach Mohamed Mansaray aka Papa Now to get his own side of the story, but he could not be reached. The matter is still under investigation at the Ross Road Police Station and we will get more details as the matter progresses.
