The three-day free test drive of the government’s Waka Fine” Public Transport Buses is to end today, Thursday 1st February, 2024.

The free drive started on Tuesday, January 30th, 2024 in an effort to make sure the buses are working properly before they can be used for commercial purposes. According to the Government, the public Transport Buses will start commercial operations on Friday 2nd February, 2024.

The Buses are to run from 6am to 10pm daily with the Transport fare of NLe 10 (one way) from the East corridor starting from Calaba Town to the Central Business District (CBD) Central Bus Station as the end point and for the West Corridor from Lumley to the Central Business District (CBD) Central Bus Station as the end point.

The Buses comes with a lot of benefits for Sierra Leoneans that will be using them. It will ease transportation constraints and provides a comfortable ride.
