Armenia’s biggest Diamonds company- ADM DIAMONDS has expressed interest to invest in Sierra Leone at a function held for investors in Armenia by the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Speaking at the function, the Chief Executive Officer of ADM DIAMONDS, Mr. ARTAK, said they are leaders in the region in terms of fancy cuts and custom made manufacturing diamond products. As a company, they make use of cutting edge state of the art equipment in all their operations.

“This is what we want to replicate in Sierra Leone” he said. Mr. ARTAK said what is even interesting about their company is the market influence for a company which has existed since the Soviet Union. He said they are aware of the quality of Diamonds from Sierra Leone and they want to be part of the value addition story. He said there are possibilities that their company can establish a Diamond processing factory in the Country.

In response, the Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran and designate to the Republic of Armenia His excellency Ambassador Alie Badara Kamara said he will be delighted to welcome ADM Diamonds in Sierra Leone. He said the Country is endowed with minerals and that since 1930, Diamonds have been part of the story of Sierra Leone. As a country, the government is ready to create partnerships that will guarantee job creation. He encouraged them to visit the country at their earliest convenience as the Country is ready for business.
