The Government of Sierra Leone has announced a two-day orientation for individuals intending to undertake the Hajj pilgrimage in 2025.

The orientation is scheduled for May 21 and 22, 2025, and will take place at the Presidential Hajj Taskforce Secretariat located in the Bank of Sierra Leone Complex, Kingtom, Freetown.

Pilgrims who have successfully completed the official registration process, including medical screenings, are invited to attend the orientation. Each session will run from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM.

Key topics to be addressed during the orientation, as stated in the announcement, include overseas travel formalities, practical demonstrations of Hajj rites, expected behavior and conduct during the pilgrimage, and lessons learned from previous pilgrimages.

The announcement was made by Sheikh Dyphan A. Massaquoi, Head of Operations & Support Services for the Presidential Hajj Taskforce, and was endorsed by the Chairman of the Presidential Hajj Taskforce.
