Sierra Leone’s Minister of Health and Sanitation, Austin Demby has engaged the former vice president of the Gambia, Dr. Isatou Touray in exchange for partnership opportunities.
The discussion was also focused on the process of uniting their forces to combat neglected tropical diseases within both countries.
The minister of health and sanitation in his transformational health campaign, which is a platform for the development of modern Sierra Leone, has been very focused on having collaborations and strategies to have the health sector very proactive in addressing health challenges in the country.
Sierra Leone was recently classed among 8 countries to allocate funding specifically for tackling malnutrition.
