Health Ministry Launches Nationwide Training for Hospital Management Teams

The Ministry of Health’s Directorate of Hospitals and Ambulance Services (DHAS) has today launched a three-day intensive capacity-building training program for hospital management teams across the country.

The initiative aims to strengthen healthcare delivery, with a particular focus on hospital leadership, governance, and financial management key pillars expected to enhance hospital performance and ensure sustainable service delivery nationwide.

Under Dr. Austin Demby’s effective hospital management plan, the program seeks to equip hospital leaders with essential skills and practical tools needed to manage resources efficiently, promote accountability, and deliver improved outcomes for patients across Sierra Leone.
