The JMB and Associates, under the leadership of His President Julius Maada Bio and First Lady Fatima Maada Bio, have extended their help to Muslims in different mosques and Jamaats during the holy month of Ramadan in a show of generosity and social responsibility.
The program includes donating food to various Mosques (Masjids), in the Western Area of Freetown. The food contribution is said to have come at a time when many Muslims in Sierra Leone fast and engage in deep spiritual thought to commemorate the benefits of Ramadan.
The donation process is designed to offer food to families in need to reduce the difficulties encountered during the month-long fast.
The donation is part of JMB and Associates’ dedication to promoting social welfare and social duty. The act of assisting those in need is said to have showcased the qualities of unity and compassion, which are especially important during Ramadan.
“This initiative stands as a testament to the government’s dedication to supporting the well-being of all Sierra Leoneans, reinforcing the values of generosity and care during this blessed season.” Fatima Bio wrote.
The act was warmly appreciated by the various Muslim Jamaats and Mosques because it not only meets urgent food requirements but also promotes the giving spirit that distinguishes the holy month.
