President Joseph Nyuma Boakai of Liberia is set to visit Sierra Leone on November 18th, 2024, and preparations are underway to ensure a vibrant welcome.
The Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs has issued a directive calling for a cultural celebration upon the President’s arrival at the border.
According to a memo from Permanent Secretary Sahr E. Mondeh, traditional dancers will be organized to entertain President Boakai. Paramount Chiefs in the border region, particularly in Pujehun District, have been asked to mobilize their communities and participate in the welcoming ceremony.
