Sierra Leone former Financial Secretary, Sahr Jusu who is also a member of the International Criminal Court (ICC) Budget and Finance Committee, was part of the panel that thoroughly reviewed the FY2025 Budget of the ICC.

The committee reviewed for submission of State Parties, the Court’s Annual Budget, and all other activities that have financial implications including the ICC Prosecutor, Karim Khan’s 2025 Budget.

This process which commenced on Monday 2nd September 2024, will continue in the next 11 days in the ICC headquarters at The Hague.

As part of the rebranding process aimed at changing the narratives from war to business and development, Sahr Jusu aimed to represent Sierra Leone well.

Sahr Jusu is a seasoned development economist with almost three decades of experience from the Ministry of Planning to the Director of Public Debt and Financial Secretary at the Ministry of Finance.

He has served on several international platforms, including the IDF. Even out of public service in Sierra Leone, Sahr Jusu continues to serve and represent Sierra Leone.
