Sierra Leone’s global rap icon who doubles as the Ambassador for investment and entertainment Kao Denero is all set to showcase Sierra Leone’s entertainment and tourist site in his anticipated “Back to my Root” concert scheduled for 7th January 2023.

It would be important to note that Kao Denero took an entertainment entourage, including but not limited to Article Foryoh (President of Eastend Artistes Union) to Fox Seaside nightclub in Istanbul, Turkey, on 16th October 2022 as part of strengthening his ties with entertainers and Sierra Leone entertainment fans globally.

Back home, preparations are ongoing as the entertainment Ambassador has collaborated with the dynamic Cribs International (Sound Masters in show biz) to bring entertainers from various genres to hit the stage come January 7th, 2023 at Tokeh beach.

However, the most crucial part of the event is bringing in Kaligraph Jones; a once touted rap competitor of Kao Denero.

Kaligraph once and is still involved in a heated microphone battle with rappers from the African continent.

The fact that the microphone battle is still in continuation, the Ambassador deemed it necessary in bringing him to witness the milestone event.

“Back to my Roots” is an inclusion of all entertainment genres and sectors including Comedy, Afro Pop, Rap and Hip Hop.

The essence of going to Tokeh beach cannot only be limited to the capacity in attracting music fans; but also a platform to expose Sierra Leone’s tourist locations.

Moreover, the “Back to my Roots” concert has added more significance to DJs embarking on promoting Sierra Leone music through interviews, mixtapes, and live sessions, bringing record labels or artists to the limelight of standing a chance of winning the sum of ten million Leones (Old notes).

This plan is a bid to dominate entertainment places/centres during December and a firm recognition of our local content.
