In an Engagement to Ensure Key Stakeholders Participation and Involvement on the 5th Edition of Bai Bureh Service Delivery Awards 2022, His Royal Majesty- Paramount Chief Koblo Queen of Marampa Chiefdom described the Executive of Bai Bureh Foundation as Ambassadors for Community & National Development.

In an hour engagement with Paramount Chief Koblo Queen ll at his residence in Lunsar, He described members of the Bai Bureh Heritage Foundation as Goodwill Ambassadors for Community and National Development. The description from his Royal Majesty emanated out of the resilient efforts and the passion of the general membership to contribute to societal development and national transformation.

Such engagement is part of the Organizations strategies to ensure the full participation and involvement of key stakeholders in carrying out the development programs and activities of the Foundation.

The engagement was centered around updating the Paramount Chief on the development activities of the organization over the years and the plans to make him part of this year’s implementation of the Bai Bureh Service Delivery Awards for his tremendous developmental achievements and contributions over the years in Marampa Chiefdom, Port Loko District and the country as a whole. This year will mark the five years anniversary of the awards ceremony that which we are gearing up to celebrate sustainability in a grand style of full cooperate and red carpet.

It is on this background the Executive Director for the Bai Bureh Heritage Foundation- Councillor Ambassador Totti Fofanah deemed it very significant to notify the Paramount Chief about the agreed plans of the organization to honour him as the Distinguish Grand Chief Patron in this years Bai Bureh Service Delivery Awards 2022 in Port Loko City.

The Director in his presentation said: I have been following your trend in supporting the people of Marampa Chiefdom in all aspects of community development in which I want to seize this opportunity to congratulate you for a job well done. As a developmentally oriented traditional authority, it is not by any mistake to meet with you, because you share similar vision with our organization that seeks to make Port Loko District a Develop Zone.

We are a Youth-Led organization that envisioned a country where youths are placed at forefront of all aspects of development inorder to become drivers of economic prosperity. In this engagement, we are excited to inform you that we have emerged the first community development organization to construct a Multi-Modern office Building through resources mobilization from like-minded people and institutions in Sierra Leone and the Diaspora.

Currently, the building is housing the organization administrative affairs. An organization that was established in 2018 can now boost of Empowering Rural Farmers for Self-reliance, Supporting young people to acquire Tertiary Education, Providing Safe Drinking Water for Communities, Empowering more young people through our Youth Development Initiatives. Our Organization is currently leading the way for the Promotion of Domestic Tourism in Sierra Leone through the annual Bai Bureh Festival Initiative. The rationale behind the Bai Bureh Service Delivery Awards is to inspire and motivate service providers for their relentless and exceptional contributions in their fields or respective offices.

This year, the Bai Bureh Heritage Foundation and Cooperate Partners will Honour 40 Service Providers in the Northwest Region and across Sierra Leone with customized Gold Trophies from the people’s Republic of China. This we believe will serve as a yardstick to tell Service Providers who are doing extremely well that their efforts are appreciated beyond words. This years event is a corresponding reward for good things done to better the lives of others, and it’s on this background the Bai Bureh Heritage Foundation thought is wise to extend an invitation to you serve in the capacity as Distinguish Grand Chief Patron as a personality who has contributed and still contributing to the development transformation of his community.

The Director at the end of his presentation assured the Paramount Chief that the event is bias free and always create the platform for people from different Political, Religious, Social and Tribal Background to dine together and experience the pride and strength of Port Lokos Culture.

Paramount Chief Koblo Queen ll in his response thanked the Bai Bureh Heritage Foundation and shower praises to all those who have contributed greatly and in any little ways to it’s development agenda.

“Honestly, I am 100% impressed with the countless of achievements especially the setting of a Student Baskit Fund and the Construction of your office. It’s shows how determined you are to contribute to the development of Port Loko District. With such moves by our Youths, I am hopeful for a better leadership that will take from us to push the image of Port Loko developmentally in the near future.” Chief Koblo Queen mentioned.

“On social media, I have been following some of your activities, and I want to register that you guys are strong and focused. I was part of the 2019 implementation of the Bai Bureh Service Delivery Awards as a District Stakeholder. I am grateful that I have been chosen out many in Sierra Leone to serve in the capacity as Distinguish Grand Chief Patron. I am happy and I pray that Allah make it possible to witness this all important occasion. As a traditional authority, it’s our collective responsibility to lend our participation and support to Youth activities that gives a facelift to our District and the Sierra Leone as a whole. Bai Bureh Service Delivery Awards is worthy to support because you as organizers has proved beyond all reasonable doubt that when people contributed to societal development they ought to be celebrated and recognised. To me, I am proud that the Bai Bureh awards is now well recognised nationally.
