The Ministry of Employment, Labour and Social Security has informed the general Public of its decision to increase work permit fees for Non-Citizens effective 2024.

According to a Public Notice from the Ministry, the decision came following extensive consultations with the Social partners, Sierra Leone Labour Congress and Sierra Leone Employers Federation).

The notice further acknowledged that sector categorization shall be affected consequently.

Formal and Informal Organizations are expected to cooperate in full when the implementation commences.
