Liberia will host a high-level Sierra Leonean delegation on a Study Tour and Peer Learning Visit from September 27 to October 1, 2025.
The initiative, organized by Liberia’s Governance Commission in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Administration and Political Affairs, the Public Sector Reform Unit (PSRU), and the Public Service Commission (PSC), seeks to strengthen governance and public administration reforms within the Mano River Union (MRU).
Leading the Sierra Leonean team are Minister of Public Administration and Political Affairs Amara Kallon, PSC Chairman Kalilu O. Bah, and PSRU Director Sulaiman Phoray Musa.
The visit will provide a platform for both countries to exchange experiences on reform initiatives, identify best practices adaptable to Sierra Leone’s context, and reinforce bilateral cooperation on institutional development.
Aligned with Pillar 5 of Sierra Leone’s National Development Plan, the exchange underscores the country’s commitment to enhancing accountability, professionalism, and service delivery in the public sector.
As part of the itinerary, the delegation will pay a courtesy call on Liberian President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., on September 29, 2025. Officials expect the initiative to deepen institutional ties and advance good governance across the MRU.
