The Deputy Director, Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education Sahr R Suluku has written to the Chairman conference of principles in Bombali district over claims of Principles extorting school pupils.
Mr Suluku expressed concerns that his office have started receiving reports from the public/parents that some principals in Bombali have started requesting money for the issuance of admission notice to WASSCE candidate for the 2022 exam.
He further reminded the chairman of the Conference of Principles in the District that it is a criminal offence punishable by law.
The Deputy Director further admonished the chairman to desist from the said practices as the Anti- Corruption has informed him that their team will be visiting some listed schools in the District.
