The Minister of Trade and Industry, Ibrahim A. Sesay has engaged the United Nations Resident Coordinator, Babatunde Ahonsi and team on developmental plans.

The discussion was centered around strategizing the efforts to enhance the country’s trade competitiveness within different sectors for proactiveness in maintaining the economy of the country.

He added that, the discussion was focused on how to leverage opportunities which may include AfCFTA for faster progress towards Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 1,2,8 and 9.

The minister has also structured the ministry and its different sectors for conducive working environment for the interest of Sierra Leoneans.
