Sierra Leone’s Ministry Of Communications and Innovations has on the 2nd February, 2024 signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The MOU seeks to benefit both countries in the development, implementation and advancement of information, communication and technology initiatives.
It was also noted that, the key areas of collaborations may range from, digital information development, E-Government initiatives, information and communications Technology (ICT) policy development and capacity building and knowledge transfer respectively.
The signing of the MOU took place in Kazakhstan, where both ministers Bagdat Mussin and Salima Monorma Bahofficially endorsed the agreement through a partnership that marks the step towards realizing shared vision for advancing ICT initiatives in Sierra Leone.
