As of Sunday, May 4th, 2025, at 3:00 PM, Sierra Leone has recorded a total of 1378 cumulative confirmed cases of Mpox.
The National Public Health Agency reports that there are currently 1074 active cases. In the past day, 119 new cases were confirmed, while no recoveries were recorded. The total number of recovered individuals stands at 294, and the death toll remains at 10.
Mpox cases have been reported across various regions in Sierra Leone, with Western Urban reporting the highest number of cases (970), followed by Western Rural (273) and Bombali (47).
The gender breakdown of confirmed cases is as follows: 653 female and 725 male.
