A group of NACOVERC workers have staged a strike after going eight months without salary.

At Special Court testing center in Freetown, NACOVERC workers held a sit down strike in protest of delaying payment of their salaries.

The NACOVERC workers who staged the strike comprised workers of the various units of NACOVERC.

NACOVERC workers complained about how authorities treat them even though they have gone months without salary.

Workers have given ultimatum to NACOVERC authorities that if they are not payed till November 16th, they will continue their sit down strike, adding that they have been continually promised lies.
