Oakwood Green Africa Limited (Oakwood Green), in collaboration with the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank), and the Ministry of Trade and Industry, is pleased to announce the Second Edition of the Afreximbank Sierra Leone Trade Roadshow to be held from May 9-10, 2023, in Freetown.
This year’s edition is under the theme “Sustaining the Intra-Africa Trade Drive: Navigating the Last Mile.”
The second edition of the Afreximbank Sierra Leone Trade Roadshow aims to continue promoting trade within the African continent and building on the successes of the previous year’s event.
Sierra Leone’s participation in intra-Africa trade is a key focus of the roadshow, and discussions with government and business entities on funding initiatives commenced after last year’s successful event will be followed up.
A highlight of this year’s roadshow will be Afreximbank’s funding support for African businesses and institutions, with Oakwood Green playing a critical role as the last mile partner for entities and institutions seeking funding from Afreximbank within the African continent.
This presents an opportunity for businesses and institutions in Sierra Leone to explore possible funding or structuring support from both Afreximbank and Oakwood Green.
The roadshow will provide a platform for collaboration and exploration of new investment and trade opportunities for businesses and investors across the continent. Oakwood Green Africa Limited, Afreximbank, and the Ministry Of Trade and Industry are committed to promoting Sierra Leone’s economic development and intra-Africa trade and investment.
Stakeholders are invited to participate in this year’s roadshow and take advantage of the opportunities available to finance and develop their businesses.
The event will culminate in the launch of the Intra-Africa Trade Fair in Cairo in November 2023, making it an exciting time for businesses and investors in Sierra Leone and beyond.
