The newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of Orange Sierra Leone, Madam Aïcha Touré, on Thursday, 29 January 2026, paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Information and Civic Education, Chernor Bah, at the Ministry’s office in the Youyi Building, Freetown.

During the visit, Minister Bah congratulated Madam Touré on her appointment and welcomed her to Sierra Leone. He emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to collaborating with Orange Sierra Leone and pledged his support for the company’s initiatives in the country.

“My doors are always open to you and your team at Orange Sierra Leone. Your success will bring us much joy,” Minister Bah said, highlighting the importance of partnerships between government and the private sector in advancing national development.

Minister Bah also acknowledged the critical role of the telecommunications sector in promoting access to information, digital inclusion, and civic education, noting that Orange Sierra Leone remains a key player in the country’s digital transformation agenda.

In response, Madam Touré expressed her gratitude for the warm reception and assured the Minister of Orange Sierra Leone’s commitment to serving the people of Sierra Leone. She reiterated the company’s dedication to improving connectivity, enhancing service delivery, and contributing to the growth of the telecommunications sector.
