Representatives from Orange Foundation Sierra Leone have reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the Free Quality School Education Secretariat (FQSE) at the Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE).
Tina Betts, the Director of Orange Foundation, emphasized the company’s dedication to fulfilling its corporate social responsibility, specifically in aiding the implementation of the free quality education scheme.
Betts highlighted Orange Foundation’s contributions, such as the construction of Early Childhood Development centers in Bombali, Port Loko, Pujehun, Bonthe, and Moyamba districts. She assured continued active involvement in the education sector and commended the MBSSE for maintaining an open-door policy.
Kamal Omar Sheriff Abass, Head of Public Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility at Orange Foundation, expressed the company’s serious approach to corporate social responsibility and extended gratitude to the FQSE Secretariat for their collaborative efforts.
Augustine Koroma, the National Programme Coordinator at the FQSE Secretariat, conveyed appreciation to Orange Foundation for their ongoing support. He urged the organization to sustain effective collaboration, particularly in reaching out to hard-to-reach communities with their educational interventions. Koroma emphasized the MBSSE’s commitment to engaging with organizations for support, applauding Orange as an exemplary company taking its corporate social responsibilities seriously.
