The All Peoples Congress party has announced the funeral arrangements for the late Ambassador Dr. Sallieu Turay, a senior member of the APC who died in Freetown on the 30th March, 2022.

The deceased, Dr Turay, is said to have served as Branch Chairman of the APC in Germany and was a founder member of the party who was later appointed by  H. E. Former President Koroma as Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Sierra Leone to the Federal Republic of Russia.

Before his death Dr Turay was an outstanding medical practitioner in Makeni where he provided medical service to many members of the APC pro-bono.

The APC Party in consultation with the family will lay the mortal remains of their comrade at no.11A Old Railway Line, Brookfields,Freetown on FRIDAY 8th APRIL, 2022 at 8:30 am.

There after on the same Friday 8th APRIL, 2022  at 10:00 am the body will be conveyed to his home town of YELE in the GBONKOLENKEN CHIEFDOM TONKOLILI DISTRICT for committal.

The party leadership will visit his residence in Freetown at no. 86 MINAH DRIVE, JUBA HILL ON WEDNESDAY 6th APRIL, 2022 to make a  presentation of the customary KASANKAY to the family at 3:00 p.m. Members are expected to assemble at the party office and take off for 86 MINAH DRIVE,JUBA HILL at 2:00 p.m
