The All Peoples Congress Secretary General, Osman Yansaneh has issued out a Press Statement to inform the general membership of the party the ruling of the Political Parties Registration Commission’s (PPRC) on the objections to the Provisions of the APC Adopted Constitution.

 “The general membership of the All Peoples Congress (PC) is informed that at an Expanded National Advisory Committee meeting held on Tuesday the 1st day of February 2022 at the Party’s Regional Office in Makeni, summoned for the purpose of considering the Political Parties Registration Commission’s (PPRC) Ruling of the 28th January 2022 on the Objections to the Provisions of the APC Adopted Constitution, it was unanimously  agreed that the Party will abide by the directives contained in the Ruling without further ado. The Party will similarly consider the suggestions proffered by the PPRC in the same RUIing and will shortly revert to the PPRC with the required amendments to the Adopted constitution for re-publication in the Government Gazette.

IT IS THE DIRECTIVE OF THE PPRC THAT, UPON COMPLIANCE WITH THE DIRECTIVES, THE CONSTITUTION SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE TWO WEEKS AFTER THE DATE OF RE-PUBLICATION IN THE GOVERNMENT GAZETTE.

The Party also wishes to express its appreciation to the Secretariat, Legal team, the APC Constitutional Review Committee (CRC), the Young Congress and also to the PPRC for its expeditious handling of the matter”
