The former Defense and Internal Affairs Minister in the erstwhile government of the All Peoples Congress (APC), Rtd. Major Alfred Palo Conteh has said that the 2023 general elections are not going to be an easy one and that who- soever thinks he is not capable enough should take the back seat.

Whether the person(s) involve is or are his relative or party members. “I take decision that will benefit the country not individuals,” he averred.
Rtd. Major Conteh disclosed that he has now expressed interest in the flagbearer position of the APC but that, for whatever reason, he discovered that following his expression of interest certain individuals have become somewhat jittery.
“This country belongs to all citizens and no one will be banished”, he said
Easier said than done
