The Calaba Town Police have arrested a man for possession of a large quantity of suspected narcotics in a continued effort to clamp down on the illegal drug trade. The arrest took place on Wednesday, 29th October 2025.
According to the Officer Commanding the Calaba Town Police Station, ASP Saccoh Kabbie Kharr, the operation was carried out following credible intelligence that led to the arrest of Abdulrahman Conteh of No. 45 Kinson Road, Kissy.
A search conducted during the operation uncovered five hundred and sixty (560) wraps of dried leaves believed to be kush, a synthetic drug that has become a growing concern nationwide.
Following the arrest, both the suspect and the exhibits were transferred to the Transnational Organized Crime Unit (TOCU) for further investigation.
