The Police Sierra Leone Council during its meeting on September 27 2024 approved the promotion of several senior officers to the rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG).
This decision is effective immediately, as conveyed by the Inspector General of Police to all directors, regional police officers (REGPOLs), local unit commanders (LUCs), and heads of departments (HoDs).
