Dear Madam, First Lady Fatima Bio
I am writing this letter with a deep sense of regret and humility to extend my sincerest apologies for the disrespectful and inappropriate remarks made by Hawa Hunt, a current participant in the House of Stars reality show. Her comments directed at His Excellency, President Julius Maada Bio, and Your Excellency were not only offensive but also utterly unacceptable.
As someone who values decency and respect, I was deeply disheartened by her words, which in no way reflect the sentiments of the many Sierra Leoneans who hold both the President and the First Lady in high esteem. Public figures such as you have dedicated time and effort to the betterment of our beloved country, and such remarks undermine the respect and dignity your positions deserve.
While I cannot undo the harm caused by her statements, I want to unequivocally condemn her behaviour. There is no justification for using language that is demeaning to anyone, let alone the First Family. I have also taken it upon myself to speak with her to help her understand the gravity of her actions and the importance of offering respect, especially in public discourse.
Your Excellency, I humbly appeal to your sense of compassion and motherly love to consider forgiving Hawa Hunt. As a young woman, she still has a lot to learn about communication and responsibility, and I am hopeful that this incident will serve as a valuable lesson for her to grow and do better in the future.
Once again, I offer my deepest apologies for the offense caused and assure you of my commitment to promoting respectful dialogue, particularly among the youth.
Thank you for your understanding and I pray for continued wisdom and strength as you fulfil your duties as the mother of our nation.
Yours respectfully,
Osman Bendu
AKA Mamy Thomas.
Why are Sierra Leoneans always on the side of evil. Where were you Mr TV presenter when Hawa Hunt was make such a derogatory statement against the first family. Why is it only now that you are make a statement or appeal or apology?
I can not agree with you more
Let her speak for her self
She didn’t do anything to first lady, but the law. So let the law do it work for others to learn and never to do the same thing to other leaders.
I do support you my brother on this supplication to both the President and First Lady. Like them or hate them, they are there in that position because God want them to be there. How many presidents have we raised in this country called Sierra Leone? They might have made mistakes in ruling this country but she took the wrong method to address that by using abusive languages. Please Mr President and First Lady I humbly beg to join Mami Thomas to show compassion on this lady I do not even know and believe that forgiving here will be a one plus to you. Please sir and madam. I am a senior citizen of mama Salone and we will soon launch that organisation to be teaching these young folks how to comport themselves. Thanks
We all deserve rewards for our actions.
Hawa Hunt needs to receive hers and it will be unjust if she goes without it.
She knows the consequences of her action let her pay the price of disrespecting authority so that others will not follow suit
The law has spoken, leadership is from God everyone should respect leader.
Another person will misbehave again and we join the begging wagon. Oh Salone
Let her face her carma , she deserve to be punished. She was very rude in that of her video, disrespecting a Leader who God has appointed, those folks outside there supporting her of such acts. Let her face the LAW so others who are in such behavior will learn a LESSON.
Those who are pleading for Hawa Hunt, did you ever called her and advice her since when she was insulting our First Gentle Family in the country, WHY NOW?, Most of you are Hippocrates of this our beloved Nation. No one is above the Law
Madam First Lady , our ears are listening, our eyes are seeing, ….,………………,……
Sad behavior as a promising youth to be acting like a novice, but any way may God talk the hart of our first family.
These are the so called Sierra leone celebrities setting nasty precedents for the younger generations. My foot
No apologies is accepted others are in the corner waiting for the same action
She shouldn’t be pardoned at all cost. If no precedents are set in regards to this, others will follow suit. I believe today is her last day of the 5 days that was given to her. Let her face the full force of the law. Mammy cuss must done na social media against we leaders Dem.
I’ve never seen such acts from other countries. This is the only country we’re hearing such from illegal person’s claiming to be patriots.
I believe, as a patriotic citizen of a nation, it is your responsibility to give positive ideas that will bring better development to your country rather than defaming it.
May Allah bless Sierra Leone
