The Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) has announced Dr. Prince Alex Harding as being re elected as the National Chairman of the party.

He secured a landslide victory with 529 votes defeating major contenders including Alex Bhonapha (88 Votes) Jimmy Batilo Songa (392 votes) Momodu Koroma(13 votes) and Joseph Kaifala (9 votes).

The party’s National Convention which was held in Bo Town, Southern Province of Sierra Leone on 29th and 30th December, 2021 for the party’s National Positions has seen Batilo Songa as the National Chairman of the party.

The party also elected His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio as the flagbearer of the party for the 2023 general elections. Former Deputy of Internal Affairs, Lahai Lawrence Leema was also elected as National Public Relations Officer and other national positions were won by others.
