In a ceremony in California Sierra Leonean American Based Female Musician Neneh Ada Yang popularly known as Queen was honoured with a Humanitarian Award from the United Nations Association Of The United States Of America.

Her excellency Isatu Timbo Nwokedi sent me to represent her and mama salone at the tree-planting ceremony as she was dealing with other important government tasks.

But on the second day, she made an appearance at the SabanTheater Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills on 11.11 to celebrate peace and unity and represent our beloved nation SierraLeone.

I went with her and It was splendid. Amazing dignitaries and media. The real King and Queen were crowded by older royals. So many awards received and happy faces. Madam consul received 2 awards and I was blessed with a humanitarian award also. Thanks to Her Excellency Isatu N Timbo for giving me this opportunity. Thanks to the Art For Peace Awards DAME MUNNI IRON for working with madam consul to give Sierra Leone this opportunity to partake in this year’s event.
