Ahead of the Annoncement of Presidential Election result Sierra Leone’s President, Julius Maada Bio, has expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the people of Sierra Leone for their cooperation and commitment to ensuring safe elections throughout the country.
In a statement released on social media, President Bio thanked his fellow Sierra Leoneans for heeding the call for peaceful elections across the nation. He commended their resilience and fortitude, highlighting these qualities as defining characteristics of the country.
While the official announcement of the presidential results from the Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone is still pending, President Bio urged everyone to remain calm and maintain faith in the electoral systems. He emphasized the importance of preserving peace and unity during this critical period for the nation.
