Sierra Leone’s Minister of Communication, Technology, and Innovation, Salima Monorma Bah, has been recognized by the Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD) as part of their Class of 2024 Global Top 100 Lists.
The Ministry of Communication, Technology, and Innovation announced the news on their social media platforms, congratulating Minister Bah on this significant achievement. The Ministry highlighted this recognition as a testament to President Bio’s focus on appointing young talent, particularly women, to key leadership positions.
Minister Bah is known for being one of the youngest members of President Bio’s second-term cabinet, as well as the first woman to lead the newly formed Ministry of Communication Technology and Innovation.
The Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD) is a global civil society initiative established to support the United Nations General Assembly’s proclaimed International Decade for People of African Descent (2015-2024).
MIPAD curates a unique global list that identifies high-achieving individuals of African descent around the world. The initiative aims to connect those in the diaspora with their counterparts on the African continent, fostering collaboration for the benefit of Africa and its global diaspora community.
You go Ms. Bah.
So proud of you.
