The Leader of the main opposition, All Peoples Congress (APC) Party, Samura Kamara has sent a condolence message to the family of the late former British High Commissioner to Sierra Leone, Peter Penfold.
Sierraloaded reported how Penfold who is often described as a true friend of Sierra Leone, diplomat, and advocate for peace died on Sunday, October 1, 2023, according to family sources.
His condolence message reads; “Good morning Sierra Leone. Just heard the sad news about the passing on of our mutual friend, Peter Penfold, former British High Commissioner to Sierra Leone. I extend my condolences to all of us, his family, and the UK at large.
“May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace and May light perpetual shine upon him. Pa Komrabai Peter Penfold was of a different European breed.
“Difficult to tell whether he was an African or not. Sierra Leoneans across the globe will sure miss him. All he needs now are our Prayers Prayers and Prayers. RIPP.”
Dr Samura Kamara is very good when it comes to funerals. He cannot be president of a nation therefore we promote him to be PRESIDENT OF FUNERAL SERVICES!
